Up until the mid 1930's most vehicles had either hand painted or cast aluminium plates with 3 1/2 inch high digits.

Pressed polished aluminium plates were introduced followed by raised riveted white and silver digit plates.

 

 3 1/2 inch pressed polished aluminium

  3 1/2 inch raised riveted white digits (aluminium border an optional extra)

 

 

 

3 1/2 inch raised riveted silver digits

 

Some plates were available with expensive cast aluminium digits and we are able to supply Ace plates.
