In 2001 new regulations were introduced which reduced the size of the font, to allow room for the GB Euroband, and made the Charles Wright the only legal font.
Choices now are limited only to plain plates, plates with a border or plates with the GB Euroband. Both types are also available with the option of 3D digits.
THE GOVERNMENT HAVE NOW ANNOUNCED THAT THEY WILL ALLOW COUNTRY FLAGS TO BE DISPLAYED ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF PLATES. WE WILL DISPLAY PHOTOGRAPHS SHORTLY BUT IN THE MEANTIME PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU WISH TO SEE SAMPLES OF AVAILABLE FLAGS.

We can also offer a great new alternative, the new Vision pressed reflective aluminium plates available either plain or with the GB Euroband. Please note that 'normal' oblong plates are 520 x 110 mm but Vision plates are 520 x 120 mm because of the designer lip. That is the only size available in Vision.
